Besides replacing the flooring in my entire downstairs area, I recently had them remodel my kitchen, which included installing new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, plumbing and lighting. They were able to make some minor changes to the location of my appliances to give me twice as much cabinet and countertop space. They also installed crown molding in the downstairs area; counter tops, sinks, faucets, tile and lighting in the bathrooms; ceiling fans; closet doors; and a patio door. Everything was done on time and within budget. The owner David and his crew were on top of everything, courteous, and professional. I am very happy with the results.

My flooring project was particularly complicated and time consuming and David and his Team did an excellent job in correcting many issues with my home. Also, I desperately needed to paint the interior of the home and quotes and time schedules provided by other vendors failed to meet my reasonable time tables and Omega Floor & Carpet stepped in and got all the painting/ceiling fan replacements done in record time. MATT A.2018-03-26Stopped into this store after leaving Home Depot today. We picked out our carpet there and showed the owner our quote from Depot. He claimed his carpet was much better quality stainmaster brand and would last much longer. He quoted us $3800 for the job and said he would come out today and measure. We took a sample of the carpet home and everything was perfect. It was $700 more than Depot but we were excited to purchase local and felt we were getting a better value overall. He came out tonight and confirmed the measurement. Everything was as stated. He then excused himself for a moment and came back inside with an inferior product half the quality of the one he sent us home with. After we questioned him, he said oh, I made a mistake when I priced it. You'll have to pay $4500 for the one you want. We questioned him and he said that's the price and I don't commit to prices until I come to your home. He then rudely said I have to go. Let me know if you change your mind. My wife and I looked at each other and thought WOW We were really wrong about this place. The man who came out claimed to be the owner. He's not a good business man and wasn't honest with us.
Andrea L.2018-02-21A Happy Customer: David put in tile floors for a friend of mine many years ago. The work was excellent so I used him for some tile work in my bathrooms about 8 years ago and I was very satisfied. This time it was for a much bigger job of putting new flooring in a family room, living room, kitchen , hallway and entry way. The job started on due date and was finished quickly. Being an A type personality I was nervous about all details and I'm the type that likes everything in its place. I c now I never needed to stress. First, note David is a perfectionist, detailed oriented, very knowledgeable , professional and nice to work with....he listens! Day one David shows up with his team and lays out everything so the workers know exactly what needs to be done. These guys were perfectionist....just what I ordered! Poor guys never took breaks, worked together like a well oiled machine and their lunch was less than an hour! The workers were so professional and very nice. I have a fireplace with uneven corners, nooks, crevices and they made it look easy placing, measuring, cutting the boards, very impressive. Each day they cleaned up well and made sure I knew what was planned for the next day. David checked in several times to note the work. David and crew r so good at their craft. All went smoothly and the floors look so professionally done I'm very, very pleased. Do note, I was there the whole time of this job and probably getting in their way but they were always cordial and professional. This company does high class work which doesn't look second rate. In fact, at the end of the job David showed up we got to talking and he just mentioned in passing, that the baseboards are painted wood not the cheap stuff that over time can corrode from moisture....something for u all to note. When u spend money u want to feel good about your decision. I feel so happy that I got it right.......thanks David and crew.

It was at tht time we discovered they also do painting, electrical and plumbing. We decided to hire Omega again to do painting and carpet. The job became much more complex than we anticipated but David Sherdil and his dedicated workers took the extra days needed on our job to complete the task and do additional work we requested. The prep they do before starting is impressive and workmanship and attention to detail outstanding. They left our home clean and neat every day. We had David's team whitewash an ugly rock firrplace which turned out lovely next to the newly painted walls. Our nasty looking garden patio cement that they refinished using a special process looks fabulous! You get what you pay for and if you are looking for quality and a job that reflects well you will be pleasantly surprised. Look no further! !!

I had a bid from another flooring store and decided to contact Omega for comparison. His price was very competitive AND best of all, he said he could install the following week. David was very low key and kind… and totally professional through out. He stopped by several times to check on the progress of his work crew (it was a 2 day job) and when he saw something that he didn’t like, he had the guys tear up and redo a section. Truth be told, I could barely notice what he was talking about but I was happy to see that he cared about things being done perfectly. I definitely recommend this establishment!

I’ve been a customer of Omega for several years and have previously praised their work and their prices. I recently had a plumbing problem – yes – not a flooring issue, and used Omega. Now, don’t expect that Omega Floors is branching out and extending their range of home services to include drain clearing and sewer line replacement!
As a single mother of 4 and on a budget, I was looking to replace my worn carpet. I priced flooring from 6 different places and Omega was by far the least expensive option. David did a home visit in the evening to scope out the job, since that’s what worked best for me with my kids’ schedules. I couldn’t move all my furniture out of the family room so he handled it and didn’t charge me extra. He took the tile into the closet, which he didn’t include in the estimate, but didn’t charge me extra since he didn’t ask first and just knew it would look a lot better (and it did). He also had to empty out my entire closet, which was jam packed. I was expecting extra fees in the end and there weren’t any! He completed the entire job in 1 day, just like he said he would.
David with Omega floors did a beautiful job for us. Being a swimming pool contractor im always nervous about hiring a company that delivers what they say they will. I lived with squeaky carpeted floors for 15 years but no longer the case. They removed old carpet,then the old hardwood floors under that,then repaired and re screwed 700 s/f of sub floor down to the joist, then installed beautiful 3/4″ Brazilian cherry hardwood which was then sanded & finished in place. They also installed base boards that turned out perfect. I couldn’t be happier with with the end results. They also installed beautiful carpet in three bedrooms.

I am very pleased with the work David and his crew did in my home. I had hardwood installed in a guest bedroom, and porcelain tile installed in a small bathroom. The quality of the installation was excellent, and the pricing was reasonable and fair. In addition, they installed a new bathroom countertop, sink, toilet, and crown moulding in the guest bedroom. I wasn’t planning on getting all of this work done, but when I saw similar work that David had done in a neighbor’s home, I was immediately impressed and inspired to do some updating in my home. David introduced me to a new white-wash wood finish that just came on the market, and I absolutely fell in love with it. It totally changed the look of my guest bedroom, which now looks chic — with a touch of European flair. David was very hands-on with this project, continually checking on his crew and cleaning up afterwards. I think this shows integrity. His crew was respectful and hard working throughout the process. I plan on having David and his crew install more hardwood in my home in the near future.
David was very patient, responsive, and communicative throughout the whole process. The quality of work is top – notch. We are so glad we hired Omega Floors.
The original installation had to be postponed due to an absent employee. On the day, installation was rescheduled, David and crew arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, did a beautiful job with great detail work, and cleaned up everything. I would definitely use Omega Floors again. In fact, I can’t wait to do more.
The workers were very professional. The troubleshot all the floor squeeks, and eliminated them. They troubleshot the other quirks in the floor, and too care of those, too. The included replacement of the floorboards in their pricing and it looks lovely.
David worked with us and our difficult schedule. He helped us out when we found some unexpected problems. This is a man with great knowledge and integrity. We’ll definitely have him do other jobs for us.
I hired Dave Sherdil/Omega Floors to install hardwood floors throughout my house which was built in 1949 and has an addition built in the early 1980s (~1500 sq. ft.). While I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, after having Dave come over I was very impressed that he had some great ideas as well as options for what I wanted done. Other contractors simply quoted for doing the install and nothing else. As it turns out this was extremely important as several unforeseen obstacles arose during this project and Dave and his team were able to come up with resolutions that not only solved the problems but were also cost-effective.
Dave’s crew was very knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely good at their craft. They included many little things that I would not have thought of such as trim and molding that make a huge difference in the finished product.
Dave was also very accessible as I could call him at any time and he would discuss any questions I had.
I look forward to hiring Omega Floors to redo the tile floor in one of the bathrooms in the near future.
We hired Omega Flooring to install wood laminate flooring in our commercial/retail space which included 3 rooms and about 1000 sq.ft. They did a fantastic job for us. David was very helpful with reviewing the material options and the downsides and benefits of each brand. He provided a clear estimate and when hired provided high quality product & very professional installation. He went above and beyond and included extra trim that was required due to poor building construction – but not part of the quote – at no additional cost. They are very service oriented and the crew was clean and worked very fast. I would recommend Omega Floors for any job of this type.
I have used Omega Flooring 2 times, the first about 3 or 4 years ago, and I was very happy with them so recently had them install more tile flooring. Not only is David very nice and he does beautiful work, but he comes by often to supervise, and he has been very responsive and spot on in accommodating all of our needs/requests (since we have animals and wanted to make our lives as easy as possible during construction). And the workers he uses have all been very nice, too, listening to our requests and doing anything we need.
We selected omega floor after extensive research. Our friend who just had entire floor done invited us to view omega’s workmanship. We liked what we saw at the very competitive price. Quality crew, owner stopping by every day at least once, sometimes taking up projects himself. Very eager to please customers.
One thing we are very satisfied is they are capable of fixing everything that was wrong. One area of the floor was one inch sloping lower and some area of the floor was wobbly, leaky valves for toilet, etc. This is a 30 year old house. We did not have to wait for other contractors or plumber to come to fix the problems. The problems were dealt with right there with very reasonable charge. The reasoning of the charges were fully explained and we witnessed the process.
We always wanted to find a floor company that the owner is fully involved with the projects not just the sales. We found one from the designing stage to the completion.
Our hardwood floor was installed by Omega Flooring a month back. After seeing some negative reviews, I was reluctant to hire Dave. However, one of my coworkers had highly recommended him and so I decided to go ahead and install the flooring through David. I must say he and his employees have done an excellent job! He is very professional and I would highly recommend him.
